Ilex aquifolium 'Nellie R Stevens' (holly 'Nellie R. Stevens') is a member of the Aquifoliaceae family. This tree exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc) – hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.

When fully mature, Ilex aquifolium 'Nellie R Stevens' can reach an ultimate height of 4–8 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing, south–facing, east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure.
