Product description & Growing guide

Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Veitchii' (small-leaved Virginia creeper) is a member of the Vitaceae family. This climber exhibits a climbing growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – cold winter (-15 to -10ºc) – hardy through most of the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open or exposed sites or central / northerly locations. Many evergreens suffer foliage damage and plants in pots will be at increased risk.

When fully mature, Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Veitchii' can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, east–facing, north–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
