Tilia x euchlora (Caucasian lime) is a member of the Malvaceae family. This tree is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc) – hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.

When fully mature, Tilia x euchlora can reach an ultimate height of Over 12 metres and a spread of Wider than 8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, west–facing, east–facing, north–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
