Aubrieta 'Purple Cascade' (aubrieta 'Purple Cascade') is a member of the Brassicaceae family. This alpine exhibits a matforming growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – very cold winter (-20 to -15ºc) – hardy throughout the UK and northern Europe. Many plants grown in containers will be damaged unless given protection.

For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing, south–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
