Product description & Growing guide

Pieris 'Forest Flame' (pieris 'Forest Flame') is a member of the Ericaceae family. This evergreen shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – cold winter (-15 to -10ºc) – hardy through most of the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open or exposed sites or central / northerly locations. Many evergreens suffer foliage damage and plants in pots will be at increased risk.

When fully mature, Pieris 'Forest Flame' can reach an ultimate height of 2.5–4 metres and a spread of 1.5–2.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, west–facing, east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
